Since my engine is currently in a ‘deep fried’ condition and my golf is not running, it has been decided – another engine is needed 
. Since i found a cheap KR with gearbox (needs picking up from Ipswich though) i bought it (as you do…). Now i need a garage to put it in… and some other bits – exhaust, suspension, brakes… well – long way to go before the golf runs again…
